Experience
With over 25 years of recording experience, Mike Tremblay has recorded and mixed in almost every type of venue possible.
His first sound engineering experience was in 1982 when he was the sound man for a band named "The Siren's" which played in various bars, clubs and halls in the Detroit Metropolitan area and Windsor and London, Ontario, Canada.
He did this full time for two years before going on to work at Charisma Studios in Dearborn, Michigan.
He worked there on and off for the next two years as needed.
This included recording and editing many different types of music from Blues to Punk Rock.
While doing this, he also worked for Motor City Sound Systems doing sound setup and engineering at such venues as Cobo Hall in Detroit and Royal Oak Theater among others.
After this he continued doing sound for friends when asked and running a home recording studio where he recorded his own material.
In 2004, he joined Quad productions as a sound man working at Wheatland Music Festival in Remus, Michigan doing sound on Kids Hill and he has been doing it ever since.
They also started doing sound at NorEastr Festival in Mio, Michigan in 2007 and continue to.
In 2008 he opened his own studio named "Roadside Park Studio" and specializes in recording acoustic music both live and in-studio and provides on-site sound systems and sound engineering.
He has recorded and mastered albums and live albums and has many projects in the works.
Roadside Park has done sound and provided systems for Thumbfest Music Festival, Sanilac Historical Society Concert Series, Blue Water Folk Society Coffeehouse, Port Sanilac Music in the Harbor and many others.
